Start your studies at MIU
A simple process with personalized assistance
- Tuition and all application fees must be paid no later than the last day of registration for the semester. You can find the exact dates in the academic calendar. Keep in mind that you won’t be officially enrolled at MIU until your tuition and fees are paid in full. Any student who does not have all payments up to date will not be able to enroll, regardless of the pending amount.
- Once you have enrolled, you can register for the classes included in your program. You will be able to see all the class schedules in your student portal one week before the start of the registration period for the semester. These schedules are subject to change, so please be sure to confirm the final schedule with our staff before you register.
- If you change your mind about any of your classes after registration, no problem. You can make changes by submitting an add/drop form to the Student Services Department within the indicated time period.
Program fees
Please carefully review all the fees associated with your program at MIU. There are no hidden costs. All prices are in U.S. dollars.
Application fee
- $50 for U.S. residents.
- $150 for international students.
For international students
- $150: Foreign Credit Evaluation (FCE).
- $250: non-refundable I-20 application fee for the F1 student visa.
- Transcript application fees:
- $10: electronic submission in PDF format.
- $30: domestic mailing.
- $80: international mailing.
Graduation fee
$400 for all programs.
All of the texts and materials related to your online courses at MIU are included in the learning platform and virtual library. There are no additional costs associated with textbooks or learning materials.

Full tuition: $7,000 for online programs
Equivalent to: $119 per credit for online programs or $119 per credit + fees for hybrid programs
