U.S. student visas
If you’re an international student, you’ll need an F1 student visa to live and study in Miami while you complete your program with us. The MIU administration office can help you with the visa application process.
Steps to complete the admission process:
- Send the necessary information to the administration office.
- Obtain Form I-20 from the admission office (required for the F1 visa).
- Attend a visa interview at the embassy.
Once you’ve completed this process, the embassy’s administration office will contact you to process your visa.
As you can see, this process will take time. It’s important that you start the process at least 6 months before classes begin. This way, you’ll have time to complete your visa application and gather all the necessary documents to gain admission.
