Scholarships for students in the U.S.

At MIU, we believe in equal education opportunities for everyone: accessibility is at the heart of our philosophy. We encourage you to take advantage of the scholarships available for United States citizens and residents.

Scholarships for professionals

Career paths evolve over time, and we often discover new passions and objectives along the way. If you’re looking to take your career in a new direction or deepen your knowledge with a specialization, this scholarship is for you.

This scholarship covers 10% to 50% of tuition for adults with professional experience to enroll in one of our online programs.

To apply, you must submit proof of your U.S. citizenship or residency (passport, driver’s license, or ID), along with your updated resume showing a minimum of 2 years of professional experience. 

MIU’s Scholarship Committee will review each application and the level of compliance with the scholarship criteria.

Maximum number of scholarships awarded per semester: 50.

Global Leaders Scholarship

U.S. citizens or residents who have distinguished themselves as leaders or important figures in areas such as research, politics, sports, or film are eligible to apply for this scholarship from MIU, which can cover up to 100% of the cost of tuition for an online program taught in English or Spanish. 

To apply, you must write a letter describing your experience; qualifications; any relevant recognitions, awards, distinctions, or publications; and why you want to study at MIU. The Scholarship Committee will review the applications and notify you of their decision in a timely manner. 

If a scholarship recipient decides to withdraw from MIU or fails any of their classes, they will lose the scholarship and will have to pay back the portion of the tuition previously covered by the scholarship for all semesters completed before their withdrawal.
