Tips on how to use Motion Graphics
What are motion graphics?
Graphics in Movement or Motion Graphics are combinations of animated text and images which create the illusion of movement to make an idea more attractive for the public and to catch their attention. Motion graphics combine several artistic disciplines such as graphic design, photography, illustration, typography and sound.
Main Motion Graphics techniques
Stop Motion
This is the most popular technique. Animations are created by turning several individually photographed frames into a story. The recommendation for an optimal result is to use 25 images per second. Thus, a one minute video would require 1,500 photographs.

Kinetic Typography
This technique focuses on typography: moving text which can be combined with sound, music or color to create a greater impact.

Kinetic Graphics
Kinetic Graphics uses different elements such as images, text and sound to create videos with very visual animated graphics. It is often used for shock effect and to send a quick and simple message.

Motion graphics with real image
It is characterized by the combination of real images or 3D animation with text and animated graphics.

All motion graphics projects must follow 4 steps:
Define the characteristics and goal of the project. The first approach to the project should be to determine its content, its goal and its target. This definition will give us the information needed for choosing the best motion graphics technique and software.
2. Design the storyboard. The storyboard must show all the details of the script and the images or resources that will be used. The more detailed it is, the easier it will be for the later work.
3. Identify the elements that must be animated. Identify the format, color, images or typographies that will be animated and how it is going to look like. Also the sounds or music you will use to generate the desired effect.
4. Edit and animate the final video following the storyboard and the animation scheme you designed in the previous steps.
