And what do we mean when we talk about <strong>enterprise architecture<\/strong>? The way to optimize within an enterprise all the elements or architecture that make up the business strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The enterprise architecture allows us to have a <strong>global vision of the company<\/strong> that includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organizational structure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Information technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strategic objectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How did the TOGAF method come about?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It was developed in 1995 by the members of The Open Group Architecture Forum.&nbsp; It takes as a reference the TAFIM (Technical Architecture Framework for Information Management) methodology created by the United States Department of Defense in the 1990s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What elements should I take into account when applying the TOGAF methodology?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Business architecture<\/strong> covers everything related to business strategy, the structure and processes of a company, and governance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Data architecture<\/strong> refers to the way of structuring the physical and logical data of an organization, as well as the resources for managing and maintaining such data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Application architecture<\/strong> refers to creating a schema for the application systems that need to be implemented, how these systems interact and how they relate to the company&#8217;s business processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Technological architecture<\/strong> includes the structure of the hardware, software and networks necessary to support the implementation of the company&#8217;s applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What are the benefits of the TOGAF method?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It allows<strong> optimizing<\/strong> systems and improving adaptation to change.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cost reduction<\/strong> by simplifying development, maintenance and support tasks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reduce risks<\/strong> by making it easier to implement new systems and methodologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Methodology adaptable to <strong>any type of company and industry<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is the TOGAF methodology?
