Visit of the Vice Minister of MESCyT, Dr. Carlos Mendieta, to our Campus in Miami

Yesterday, July 23, Mr. Carlos Mendieta, Vice Minister of the MESCyT, Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Dominican Republic, visited the MIU City University Miami campus in Miami where he was received by our Executive Director Mr. Rafael García Parajua and the entire campus team.

The visit ratifies the agreement signed by MIU City University Miami and the MEsCyT by which they will offer 100 scholarships for their graduate studies in the Dominican Republic.

MIU is a private American university officially licensed by the Department of Education of the Florida Commission for Independent Education (CIE) and accredited by ACICS (Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools).

By virtue of this agreement, all MIU City University Miami degrees have official recognition and are legalized by the Ministry of Education in the Dominican Republic.
